Hand Dryers v Hand Towels

Air Dryers V Hand Towels

Have you ever done any of the following?

  • Had to queue in public toilets to use the hand dryers after washing your hands?
  • Used toilet paper to dry hands instead of queuing up?
  • Seen irritated children upset by the noise level of the dryers that are noisier than a chainsaw or a busy night club!?
  • Wiped hands on clothing as the dryer was taking too long to dry your hands (admit it!)

Classic hand dryer. Pretty useless to be fair.

Recent studies have shown that using hand dryers actually increases the amount of bacteria on your hands.  They use the air from the washroom area, heat it up and blow it back out leaving you with more bacterial on your hands than before you washed them.
